FINAL BLOG(s): Text Response x3 (due Friday, April 15)

Select 3 texts, each a different type and addressing something about social media and the Internet, and write a blog commentary on each.  Texts may include other blogs, articles and opinion pieces, political cartoons, even social media posts.  Each text must be embedded in your blog, and receive its own entry, so that by the blog due date - April 15 - you have submitted 7 blogs in total.

Apart from still embracing the blogging style you've achieved so far, make sure you include:

• A clear analysis of the various features used within the text type.  What features can you identify, and to what effect is the creator utilizing them?  Look in the Edmodo folder "Text Types (WT1, Paper 1)" for help.
• At the centre of what is essentially COMMENTARY is a clear argument about the text's dominant effect (your thesis or position).  This can be a central idea or technique utilized by the author.
• From there, commentary on a text includes:
• What is said
• How it is said
• Why it is said
