#ACTIVISM & #SLACKTIVISM: a thin line between them

When is a hashtag considered slacktivism or activism? Where is the line? Until what point it is enough sitting on the couch and sharing the #?

I think it depends on 2 factors:
     The purpose of the hashtag
           The person involved

Most of the hashtag that I know have as a purpose to share an ideal, to make people think and get knowledge about a topic or to show an opinion about it. If we think about the #prayforparis hashtag what could we do more than just sharing it? The purpose was to make people think about those lives that we lost and that we are losing every day because of this war.  The hashtag was made to acknowledge people. Do we have to consider it a SLACKTIVISM? I don’t think so...                           But how can we not consider those people that share the hashtag just because it is cool?  This is a risk that everyone that creates an hashtag has to consider. They have to consider this people:

Another hashtag that doesn’t ask you to be active is #GIRLLOVE, the purpose of this movement is to stop girl on girl hate and to show how much we actually admire each other.

The most active that you can be is to tweet or write a post on a girl that you admire. So, again, is it SLACKTIVISM? And again it depends on the person who posts: on one side it can be just to join this movement and in the other it can be someone that does it for  popularity and 10 min after they posted can turn around and insult another girl...

Yea, something like this....

Than we have another category of hashtags: the ones that, if you want to, you can actually join actively. Examples are #LoveWins and #BlackLivesMetter. I think this one can be considered totally ACTIVISM because people went down on the streets and protested and in some cases they risked their lives. But once again are we totally forgetting and not considering those who just sit on the couch and share the hashtag? Are they still ACTIVE because they share an ideal or they are examples of SLACKTIVISM?
