Is the Internet a MONSTER? Social Medias brainwash us become wicked???

I just read a news about a mother using a rifle to shot her children's iPhones, and even after the phones got shot, she did not stop, she then used a gigantic hummer to SMASH the wreckage till them turn to 'smithereens'
The reason why she did this, as the news said, she tried to 'denounce'the affects from social medias which caused negatively influences on her children. Moreover, she claimed that her children became 'disobedient'.
what omg shocked lucy wut
Wait what???
So from what I just read, the mom thinks that her children are the victims of social medias, and they are 'negatively affected' by social medias, and then they became 'disobedient'.
That doesn't even make sense.

First of all, a person's behaviors are closely related to what this person has been taught and how this person was raised up. Through the person's behaviors, it is possible to accurately make assumptions about this person's life. In short, what I am saying here is that If you cannot teach your children welly, don't blame it on the INTERNET! Parents should take the most of responsibilities when their children do not act morally right, if you raise up your children by setting them wrong 'model', no wonder why they become what they are right now.(e.g. in the news it says one of three children 'flipped a double birds' toward their mother when their mother finished smashing iPhones into millions of pieces, even they were furious they shouldn't do that.)Those children actually are negatively affected by , in my opinion, their mother. It is easy to deduce that only by knowing the fact that the mom just randomly got a RIFFLE and a HUMMER to VIOLENTLY destroy her kids'iPhones. I mean... Madam, judge yourself first before judge your kids PLEASEstacerizz please sarah paulson american crime story begging

Secondly, one of the statements made by the mother draw my attention. She said her children were 'disobedient' because of social medias, she 'refused to be disobeyed' and she wanted to 'take back her role as a parent'.Let me get this straight: the mother thinks social medias are manipulating her children and her children are not her puppets anymore and she feel sad about that:(
I want to make one thing clear first:No one can manipulate any person. If I were this mom's son, I would be so sad knowing that my mother treats me as a puppet.
Teenagers are at a point where they are growing and curious about different kinds of knowledge, and the era when we live has Internet and also social medias which become the best way for teenagers to obtain those knowledge. Teenagers learn those knowledge and start thinking about everything--that is when they become 'disobedient', they start have their own ways to think and solve different kinds of things, they are growing up. So STOP yelling and trying to be happy about your children finally START to think in their own ways, and be thankful to the Internet.

Last but not least, please do not OVER PROTECT your children. Although I am not a parent yet there is no way I can get the ideas of parents always trying to protect their children, I believe there is something that can only be taught by the 'society'.Just like those 'dramas' and those 'troubles' which were provoked by social medias through the Internet, yes they may be brutal, yet children also can learn things from those, such as ways which could deal with those dramas and troubles. And most of those 'dramas' and 'troubles' are, let's be honest, stupid. Stupid, but contemplative. Also, teenagers can learn that social medias are not places where they can disguise themselves and do whatever they want, they learn rules from social medias indirectly. Again, thanks Internet and also social medias for offering more chances to get people educated:)

People!!! Please know that Internet is not a MONSTER, and social medias are not places where brainwash people become bad! Bad people are bad, good people are good, no matter where they are.
