Every CLICK you click is entitled with POWER

Just watched a Ted talk given by Sally Kohn.
I am so impressed with a single statement she made in this Ted Talk, she said:"We(public) are the new editors,we decide what gets attention based on what we give our attention to."
In this new era, people are getting used to scrolling down on their smart phones' screens or using computers to obtain different information on the Internet. Thanks to that, a new industry, social medias, rises abruptly. It becomes more and more important to our daily lives. Without exaggeration, people can not live without those social medias anymore.
When we use social medias, we browse those information posted by our friends or shared by them, so here comes the point---sharing information. You might not ever think about this, but now let me tell you that every click you make matters.
Just like the statement I mentioned before, what information gets more attention depends on what we put our eyes or,for example, what we like/share on facebook is what we give our attentions to. Once we share some information and the information could get more and more attentions, eventually it will go viral or be expose in the public's attention. And you know what the worst part is? The worst part is that no matter the information is good or bad, it still could be viral."Everything we click is a public act of making media", and "that in turn shape our whole culture."
Yes, it's not every information which went viral online negative, a large amount of them is 100% positive to the society such as those hashtags such as #icebucketchallenge, #prayforparis, #freeka$ha, #lovewins and so on. Yet, undeniably, there is also harmful information out there going viral and people have nothing to do with it: sexism, racism, personal attacks... How could you stop a snowball when it is rolling and getting bigger and bigger?annoyed eye roll rosie perez white men cant jump
For instance, in China, we have something really similar as Twitter, its name is Weibo. Anyway, there are some people considered as 'web celebrities' who usually have over 10000 or even more followers, which is obvious that information spread by them will be able to go viral easily. Let me talk about one of them shortly. Zichen Liu(Vincent) is known as his plastic-surgery-face, showing off his fancy life and also his ridiculous statements(e.g, personal attacks to other celebrities or even stars who are in trend). His purpose is very evident: making himself more and more famous. He actually managed to do that, by drawing public's attention, by spreading HATRED from the public toward him. Yes it makes sense that people spread hatred because how annoying the guy is, how ridiculous he is, but hey guys, PEOPLE ARE ACTUALLY SPREADING NEGATIVE INFORMATION AND GETTING THINGS WORSE!
DO CLICK THE 'SHARE' BUTTON IF YOU WANT TO STOP HIM!omg cookie monster jaw drop

Every CLICK you click is entitled with POWER, which could even possibly change the whole society. People are always complaining about that our ethos becomes worse and worse, and people try to seek for the reason.
Hey, stop complaining!
The answer is right here!
STOP BEING IGNORANCE & CLICKING CAREFULLY!!!
Wanna make our society a better place?
So stop sharing those information which apparently is negative!
Because now you know
Every CLICK you click is entitled with POWER!
