Internet, The Highway to Hell

Yo cuh, you know the internet is the new highway to hell???



Stop thinking about AC/DC and actually think about how internet is killing us.

 

Yes Yes, I know you just thought about yourself after reading this cartoon. I think most of the internet users will feel related to this cartoon because they know they are using internet too much.
Now let's get into the technical stuff. First of all this cartoon is showing how people are soooo dependent on the internet nowadays. It shows a person thinking that the internet is ruining his career, family, and most importantly his health. However, people cannot fight their addiction because they think that with the internet is the key to their lives. This is one of the biggest problem that people are facing in today's society. Back in the day, people did all the research by looking up the books in the library, but now people use library to just get internet connection to research in the Google. I know Google is love, Google is life but it is destroying our way of living. I don't want to be a guy who's sitting in front of his laptop and reading 'Three best way to lose weight'. Maybe I might get strongest finger from typing and double clicking. I don't want to be like this:

I consider myself addicted to the internet and this allows me to relate to this cartoon. People can relate to cartoons very easily. I think this is why this author chooses this subject to raise awareness to people who are addicted to the internet. People might just laugh as scroll down to the next post, but for some people it might really change their lives. Also, the contents allows viewers to connect to the guy in the cartoon. I'm sure that we have thought about our health at least once during the time when we are on our computers. This connection really helps the cartoon to get across the main idea that internet is killing us.

I understand that it impossible to not use internet during the day of our life. I'm NOT saying that you should stop using internet, I'm just saying that there is a big risk that you are taking when you are using the internet. It could be your health, finance, or characteristic that can be destroyed by the internet use. There are people behind the computer screens to find a way to attack people to make money.
