Internet: the risk within

The internet grants numerous opportunity for us to gain information about the people in this world.  Centuries ago, when people had to go miles to deliver a mail, it was hard to think of a faster and easier way to get the job done. However, with the birth of the internet, deliver mail or other information to each other is effortless and instantaneous.


Now you may think the internet is sweet and awesome and everything is cool, BUT, the truth is, it's not! Internet is like life. It can be rough and scary. And there's a lot of bad people on the internet!


 By accessing internet, these bad guys can receive your personal information, like your bank account number, your telephone number, or your health care data. Everything you put into the internet is there for them to steal! There are estimated two million hackers in the world and four hundred thousand active hackers each day.

 

Are you afraid yet? Wait until you hear what's next.
All those surveillance camera that are placed on the street, which record everything you do, the government has access to it. And now the government has access to every single piece of information on the internet, which means the government has control of your personal information.

 So are we using the internet or it's the internet using us? I would say YES, we are using the internet, and YES the internet is using us. If you look at the internet as the hackers and the government, they're using the internet as a tool to gain control over us. Unlike them, we use the internet for entertainment, exploration and communicate.
