1. A wikipedia article on Global Internet Usage. In the literal sense, we are using the internet, quite a lot of it actually, and this Wikipedia article shows it.
2. The Reddit page for supporters of Donald Trump in his presidential campaign. Reddit in general or even any webpage with a large community is a good example of people using the internet. People may consider themselves part of an internet community, a special community where like minded people meet, like a golf club or the KKK. I didn't choose this subreddit for any particular reason though, I could've chosen any of the multitudes of subreddits at my disposal. This one in particular is an example of people using the internet for political reasons.
3. Trump goes online dating. No, not that Trump. Jeffrey "Trump" Shih is a video gamer who streams on Twitch to make a living. Normally he plays the game Hearthstone but after a long day, the viewers want something different. In this video we see Trump making an online dating profile, one of many new inventions the internet has brought us. We also get to see Trump being berated by the twitch chat to the left, another new invention brought to us by the internet. From this video we see Trump using the internet to find love.
4. Links 4 and 5 are from the internet comic Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal. In the first comic, we see a people debating supercomputers vs human brains, and ends with a supercomputer slowly taking over the world. This comic is similar to the though experiment of Roko's Basilisk, which says that you must help create a superintelligence or else when it's inevitably created, you will suffer eternally. This example shows the computer using us.
5. Another SMBC comic. This one is a little more grounded in reality, showing two people talking about the reason we feel insecure because of the internet. This is a negative side effect of the internet letting us connect so easily. we get to compare ourselves to everybody in the world and feel sad. This comic shows the internet being a bad thing, and not with its use.
6. iPhone 7 & Samsung S7 - LEAKED PHOTOS & DETAILS. A video by YouTube comedian GradeAUnderA, the other cynical brit. In this particular video Grade talks about the hype of a new smart phone coming out, and how BLOODY STUPID it is. He even says this is an example of "the things you own end up owning you".
